Metatext (“we”, “us”) operates the website at metatext.io — a free, public directory of AI resources. This policy explains the limited data we handle.
No accounts
Metatext does not offer user accounts or sign-up. You can browse the entire directory without providing any personal information.
Analytics
We use Google Analytics to understand how the site is used (for example, which pages are popular). It sets cookies and collects pseudonymous data such as pages visited, the referring site, approximate location (derived from your IP, which we do not store), and device/browser type. We use this only in aggregate to improve the site. You can opt out with the Google Analytics opt-out add-on or your browser’s cookie controls. See Google’s Privacy Policy.
Newsletter
If you choose to subscribe to our newsletter, we collect the email address you provide. It is stored and processed by our email provider, Resend, solely to send occasional product updates. What we don’t do
We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use it for advertising or profiling.
Retention & your rights
Analytics data follows Google Analytics’ default retention settings; newsletter emails are kept until you unsubscribe. You may request access to or deletion of your email at any time by contacting us.
